Hafnium-containing nickel-based high-temperature alloy additives have a lower melting point, are more conducive to the alloying of hafnium than directly adding metallic hafnium, reduce the segregation of hafnium in the alloy, and avoid the formation of multi-valent hafnium oxide slag inclusions by directly adding elemental metallic hafnium.
